On October 3rd, the MicroMuseum in Schwabhausen was officially presented to the public with its first exhibition - accompanied by a kind of village-party with plenty of free-beer, speeches, and music-playing. The exhibition´s theme are the projects of PAO.4 (the MicroMuseum itself, the Hermitage, and artistic works by the participants), along with the other ongoing plannings for the site (Revitalisation of former Kindergarden, plus upcoming Childrens Playground). - Most prominent guests again - were the village children, who practically had captured the structure for the whole day. Chessboards, guitars and amplifiers on the front-terrace kept them busy until evening hours. - Nice to observe was a continous flow of visitors into the museum throughout the following days, probably motivated by newspaper articles reporting on the museum´s opening. - Further upcoming exhibitions are planned with abroad-travel reports by the village youth, and also a show with archeological relics from the vicinity of Schwabhausen.
