During the Pao.3 sessions, the Bark (= skin of trees) was a real discovery. We found out how to use it as facade material. By simply knitting it into a wire-mesh, we produced large "coats for architecture". These we used as wrappings for ordinary industrial containers. The sheets of bark were easily fixed with wire mesh on the container structures. The knitting itself was quite much handiwork, but the result was astonishing: very rough, very natural. An organic fur for a building.
