IDEA Jörn´s "Blossom"

Jörn presented this idea: A compact box that can be easily unfolded into an open exhibition stage. Title: "Blossom" - because the structure can easily open and close again just like the petals of a flower blossom. There is a peculiar structural system intended: The whole object is supported by one central column. The material for this column should textile-concrete: it allows free-shaping while it has strong load-bearing capacities. - First experiments with textile concrete were done at the Pao.2 Workshop already (see the review 2006 at http://www.pao-project.org/)
